Info Session: Horizon Europe WIDERA 2026–2027 Draft Calls

Dear AUA Faculty and Staff,

The Office of Sponsored Programs and Technology Transfer invites you to an information and planning session on the upcoming Horizon Europe WIDERA 2026–2027 draft calls, focusing on Widening Participation and Spreading Excellence. The session will be held on June 24 at 3:00 p.m. in Room 233W, PAB. You may also join us via Zoom (Meeting ID: 867 9171 4095; Passcode: 907517).

This is a valuable opportunity to:

• Understand the strategic scope and goals of WIDERA
• Start early planning for 2026 submissions
• Explore forming working groups and initiating partner search activities

The session will feature:

• Tigran Arzumanyan, chairman of the Scientific and Innovation Partnership Assistance Center (SIPAC) and national contact point for WIDERA, who will present key guidance on preparing competitive proposals for Teaming, Twinning, and ERA Chairs — initiatives designed to build research and innovation capacity in Widening countries, including Armenia.
• Professor Maria Baghramian, ERA chair and director of the AUA Center for Ethics in Public Affairs, who will share insights from her experience applying for an ERA Chair grant.
