Research and Grants Office

The Grants Office serves as the central hub for research and project funding at AUA. Our mission is to promote, support, and enhance the research, scholarship, and creative activities of our faculty, staff, and students. We achieve this by facilitating the acquisition of external funds for sponsored programs while ensuring compliance with state, granting entity, and University regulations.

The Grants Office provides support for grant-related activities, including:

• Identifying funding opportunities: We constantly monitor various sources for new and existing funding opportunities suitable for our faculty, staff, and students.
• Proposal development: Our team supports proposal preparation, assisting with advising, budget planning, providing templates and guidelines, and any University-specific procedures.
• Pre-award and post-award management: We support applicants through the grant process, from application submission to internal approvals and reporting on use of funds.
• Compliance support: We help to ensure that all proposals and projects comply with the necessary regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Training and workshops: We provide training sessions and workshops to keep our academic community informed about grant processes and trends.
