Health Alert Update June 1, 2021
Dear AUA Community,
As the Spring 2021 semester comes to a close, I want to commend our students for their hard work and dedication throughout the previous challenging and unique year.
Please be reminded that AUA will be gradually returning to face-to-face interaction with the summer semester, though some of our courses will continue to be taught online. Given the decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases and the efficient ongoing vaccination process in the country and the world, we plan to resume face-to-face instruction for the Fall 2021 semester.
We strongly recommend and encourage our community members to become vaccinated in the battle against COVID-19. By getting vaccinated, we keep our community safe. Please note that all university faculty and staff must prepare to return to campus by August 15.
We know that you have been patiently waiting to return to the AUA campus. This Summer semester gives us an important opportunity to practice safe pandemic behaviors with on-campus classroom instruction and prepare for the Fall semester.
I greatly look forward to our campus being filled with student faces again.
