EIFL Handbook on Copyright and Related Issues for Libraries” is a practical guide to topical legal questions affecting the information work of libraries in the fast moving digital environment. This is the first book on copyright and libraries translated into Armenian.

Presenter: Hasmik Galstyan works at the American University of Armenia Papazian Library as Head of Circulation and Reference Department from 2005 to present.

Ms. Galstyan, EIFL-IP Country Coordinator for Armenia, organized several trainings on “Copyright and Libraries” for the Armenian Library Community, conducted joint seminars with AIPA (Armenian Intellectual Property Agency) protecting and promoting the interests of libraries in copyright issues.

Hasmik Galstyan translated “EIFL Handbook on Copyright and Related Issues for Libraries” into Armenian and updated it with appropriate links to the “Law on Copyright and Related Rights of Republic of Armenia”.  The printing and the distribution of the Handbook were made possible thanks to a grant from EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries) on the Organizing a Campaign on Reviewing the Copyright Law of the Republic of Armenia project.
